The We Love Pembroke Pines Foundation proudly partnered with Broward County District 7 Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis, the City of Pembroke Pines, and Farm Share to host a Free Drive-Thru Food Distribution Event on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the South Florida State Hospital Grounds, 800 Cypress Dr., Pembroke Pines.

The event provided essential groceries and household staples to approximately 700 local households, helping families stretch their budgets and put healthy meals on the table. Volunteers and community partners worked together to distribute items such as canned goods, fresh produce, hygiene kits, and non-perishable foods — ensuring that no person goes hungry in our community.
Residents were able to drive through safely to receive food boxes while volunteers loaded supplies directly into their vehicles, making the process efficient and accessible.
Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success, from volunteers and city staff to the generous support of Farm Share, a longtime partner in combating food insecurity across Florida.
The We Love Pembroke Pines Foundation thanks all who volunteered their time and energy to make this community initiative possible. Efforts like these continue to strengthen our city’s spirit of compassion, unity, and service.
